Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening and Support Virtual Training

The Texas Alliance of Child and Family Services is thrilled to announce that we are offering the Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening and Support training to our members this summer! This two-day virtual certification training details how the Standards can enhance work with families. Whether you are setting up a new program or strengthening an existing one, the Standards provide a blueprint for implementing best practices.

Based on the Principles of Family Support Practice and the Strengthening Families Framework and its research-based evidence-informed 5 Protective Factors, the National Family Support Network has created a common language across different kinds of Family Strengthening and Family Support programs such as Family Resource Centers, home visiting programs, and child development programs.

Day 1: June 26th 9:00am-3:30pm
Day 2: June 27th 9:00am-3:30pm

Participants who complete the full 2 days will receive a manual for the training and a certificate from the National Family Support Network that is valid for two years.

Trainings costs for nonmembers is $150.00 and training cost for members is $135.00. Participants will be required to attend both days of training and have a training manual to follow along with in order to receive certification. The manual will be mailed to participants prior to the first day of training.  ***Upon registration, please provide the shipping address that you will have no trouble accessing. Last Day for registration will be on June 14th.
