Foster Care Month

During May, the Texas Alliance of Child & Family Services (TACFS) is proud to recognize National Foster Care Month. The TACFS network of community-based organizations provide services on all ends of the child and family wellbeing continuum. We celebrate National Foster Care Month for two reasons: to grow our statewide commitment to Texas children and youth with living experience in the foster care system, and to recognize the residential operations, child placing agencies, and foster parents whose passion is providing safe spaces for those young people throughout the state.
