Authentic Engagement with Lived Experience: Best Practices Lab

December 5, 2025 | 10:00am

Attend

Many organizations are working to include people with lived experience in shaping policies and practices. But without care, these efforts can feel tokenistic or even cause harm.

The Center for Child and Family Studies is hosting a Best Practices Lab to explore emerging, effective strategies for engaging people with lived experience in safe, meaningful, and impactful ways. Together, we’ll develop practical recommendations to strengthen inclusion across child- and family-serving systems and define action steps your organization can take to improve your policies and practices for authentic engagement.
