AttendTexas Training Connection Monthly Training Series
The Hope for Healing (HFH) series, developed by the Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children (ATTACh), is intended for parents, caregivers and others working closely with children who have experienced trauma. (No CE’s are available for this training series)
o[WILL BE RESCHEDULED] April 16 – HFH series part 3: Coping with Loss and Managing Behaviors (No CE’s are available for this training series) – This session will discuss the losses that children may have experienced and the behaviors that often come along with that loss. The relationship of guilt and shame to trauma will also be discussed.
o May 14 – HFH series part 4: Therapeutic Parenting (No CE’s are available for this training series) – This session will discuss the foundations of therapeutic parenting and how attunement and empathy can increase a child’s ability for regulation.
