Kinship

Kinship is in Our Culture

TACFS believes in the power of families to support the children of this state. That is why we and our partners have joined together in various ways to advance and elevate kinship care.

Watch the TACFS Events page for kinship-specific events.

Kinship Advocates of Texas

TACFS has gathered a group of caring member agencies to form the Kinship Advocates of Texas (KAT). KAT strives to effectively advocate for kinship families and implement justifiable solutions to challenges that prevent children from successfully being placed in kinship care.
