In partnership with the Building Bridges Initiative nationwide, our Center for Child and Family Studies is pleased to present our new Building Bridges Initiative Texas website, bbi.tacfs.org. This website will serve as a hub of resources for community organizations, families and youth to find information, meetings, and the latest tools to further the mission of Building Bridges Initiative Texas: to connect and empower family and youth voices through improving best practices at general residential operations and aftercare.

Featured on this website you will also find more information on our very first virtual Building Bridges Initiative Conference: Implementing Best Residential Practices.

On September 9, child welfare leaders and stakeholders will gather together to unpack a four part series including Residential Business Practices that Align with FFPSA, a deep dive into youth guided care and family engagement, and getting started on developing a culture of improvement. Visit bbi.tacfs.org today to learn more about the conference and see how you can register to attend, and please also continue to visit the site for new resources and updates about Building Bridges Initiative Texas.
