AttendCBC7 is a collaborative initiative created to prepare our region for Community-Based Care. Our attention is focused on two primary goals:
Please join us for a CBC7 a community conversation in June. At this gathering, we will be sharing information on the changing child welfare landscape and seeking your input on what is important to you as we consider alternatives for implementing Community-Based Care across the region. In addition, we will be announcing an upcoming opportunity for local community efforts to seek strategic guidance and financial support as they design and implement innovative projects intended to reduce entries into foster care, shorten time in substitute care, and/or prevent recidivism into the foster care system.
Date: June 4th
Time: 9:00am-11:30am
Location: Central Texas Council of Governments (located in the Oak Village Shopping Center), 2180 North Main Street, Belton, Texas 76513
This convening will serve as a platform for community stakeholders to receive information about ongoing CBC7 efforts, share ideas and experiences, voice concerns, and provide feedback to facilitate the development of recommendations to help move this work forward. Every voice is welcome and needed so our community is well-positioned to effectively serve all children and families.
