Join the Texas Center for Child and Family Studies as we go Beyond the Buzz to explore the meanings, myths, and misconceptions related to phrases and concepts we all hear in our work. Beginning in September, we will launch this quarterly series by exploring the topic of “Evidence-Based Practice”. During our time together, we will hear from a panel of experts, including Dr. Danielle E. Parrish from the Diana G. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University, as well as Dr. Jennifer Lawson and Brenda Keller from TACFS. There will be opportunities for participants to engage in conversation to collectively gain a better understanding of the term and what it means for the policies and practices of providers.
