This year we are taking a different approach to our yearly update — one that takes a deeper look into the work our people (members, staff, and partners) are doing across the state each day. We’re incredibly honored to be continually advocating and innovating on behalf of Texas children, youth, and families. This years’ stories remind us of the importance of connection, grit, and the foundation of family.
Inside the Update, you will find words and images about highlighting the monumental progress the 88th Texas Legislature made this year, some of the statewide projects breaking new ground in the areas of adoption and permanency, and the progress on our state’s journey toward community-based foster care. And you might see some familiar faces as we’ve partnered with so many of our friends and colleagues across the state.
