Meet Pat Murphy and Tanner McElroy from The Miller Group – our nationwide liability insurance partners who have been dedicated to supporting the nonprofit sector for 30+ years.
Originally rooted in Kansas City, Missouri, The Miller Group has made their way to Texas to support foster care organizations and nonprofits with a focus in developmental and intellectual disabilities & foster care. Throughout the Midwest region, they proudly partner with and support 100 nonprofits and have helped several organizations from very challenging renewals.
Time spent building relationships with a variety of mission minded nonprofits has led the company to crafting the Miller Way. This initiative supports community organizations by donating a 10% minimum of yearly profits back to their nonprofit clients and doubling all proceeds given to their clients within their network. This holiday season, The Miller Group’s Midwest branch will also be gifting 75 children with Christmas presents and intends on bringing the same generosity to Texan children and families over time!
As the new year approaches, The Miller Group is working to help community organizations in Texas thrive by responding to their unique challenges, minimizing risk, and saving them money. The end goal is to help nonprofits dedicate more energy and resources to caring for kids and families, not insurance.
We feel a tremendous need to serve. Foster care and adoption is especially close to our hearts. Our CEO, Chief Service Officer, and multiple associates have raised adopted children. So when we can help a nonprofit lower their costs and exposure to risk, it helps our communities and families stay strong.
