The Friday Connection: Trauma Informed Care + Kinship Care – Non-TACFS Members

Join TACFS/TX Center TBRI Practitioners and special guests speakers on the last Friday of every month for connection and conversation around Trauma Informed Care with considerations for special populations. Over the course of 9 months, TX Center staff will facilitate rich conversations with guest speakers and continue creating space for peer learning. Staff will pull from various models of Trauma Informed Care and highlight specifics around special populations. Participants can attend the entire 9-month series or just drop in any time!  The training series is great for anyone new to Trauma Informed Care and for those looking to learn about Trauma Informed Practices with Special Populations.  

Last month the Best Practices Collaborative hosted a Kinship Symposium for providers interested in learning more about licensing relative caregivers. This month, for  The Friday Connection, we are continuing that trend and will be hearing from Kacey Bush, (BAIR), Kylee Craggett, (Buckner), and Kimberley Blanchard, (ACH ) about what trauma informed practice can look like for relative caregivers.
