You’re Invited! Texas Family Resource Center Meet & Greet

Does your agency identify as a Family Resource Center (FRC) or provide supports and services similar to an FRC? If so, the Texas Center for Child and Family Studies (the Center) invites you to join us on Thursday, January 26th from 9-10:30 AM for a virtual Texas Family Resource Center Meet & Greet!

As the new leaders of the Texas Family Support Network, one of our first goals is to learn more about the geography and scope of FRC and FRC-like organizations in Texas. In so doing, we hope to promote the good work happening across the state, support any interest there may be among FRC and FRC-like organizations to network with others doing similar work, and discover what needs Texas FRCs may have that we can help support. The Texas Family Support Network was started in 2018 by DFPS Prevention and Early Intervention and the Center is honored to be working in close partnership with them in this endeavor.

Our agenda will follow this general format:

  • – Welcome
    – Brief overview of Texas Family Support Network Mission & Vision
    – FRC Agency Introductions
    – Discussion
    – Next Steps

This event is free and open to any organization identifying as an FRC or FRC-like organization. Please bring as many individuals from your agency as you’d like!

If you are interested but unable to attend the meet-and-greet, we would still love the chance to connect with you! Please email Chelsy Alexander, Texas Family Support Network Coordinator, calexander@tacfs.org to follow up.
