The Texas Center for Child and Family Studies is excited to invite you to our upcoming in-person, two-day, nationally adopted Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support Virtual Certification Training!
Rooted in the Principles of Family Support Practice and the Strengthening Families Framework, the Standards offer a shared language and approach that unites Family Resource Centers and other programs such as home visiting and child development. Developed by the National Family Support Network, these Standards help programs—new or established—strengthen their foundation and elevate the way they partner with families.
Over the course of this two-day virtual training, we’ll explore how the Standards can enhance your work, support quality improvement, and provide a clear blueprint for implementing best practices across your organization.
Training Dates
Day 1: September 3rd | 9:00am–3:00pm
Day 2: September 4th | 9:00am–3:00pm
Participants who complete both full days will receive a National Family Support Network Certificate, valid for two years.
To receive certification, participants must attend both days and follow along with the training manual provided. Manuals will be mailed to you before Day 1, and a digital copy will also be emailed two days prior to the training.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Tameka Caldwell at tcaldwell@tacfs.org. We’re looking forward to learning together and supporting the incredible work you do for Texas children and families!
