TIME: 1:00pm – 2:30pm

During the summer of 2026, The Texas Center for Child and Family Studies conducted two evaluations of Texas-based providers, one directed towards Care Coordinators serving commercially sexually exploited youth (CSEY) and the second directed towards CSEY Advocates, Participants were asked to identify how their role is being implemented, what supports and barriers are affecting their day-to-day practice, how prepared individuals feel to engage in their respective roles, and what types of informational and educational supports would be beneficial. After these surveys concluded, the Center’s Evaluation Team also conducted focus groups to provide additional qualitative input to further contextualize the gathered data.

During this data discussion, members of the Center’s Evaluation Team and the Director of Anti-Trafficking Initiatives will present an interesting subset of the data collected from these two evaluations, examining areas where the conditions influencing service provision overlap for both roles, areas where challenges and supports may differ, and some of the further questions that this information sparks. Participants will be given space to share their reflections on what this data represents, what information they feel surprised by, what aligns with experiences they’ve had, what information could be missing, and what interpretations might not have been considered.
