SUMMARY:Development Professionals Discussion
DESCRIPTION:Attention Development Officers \nTACFS is hosting a roundtable discussion for development professionals.  Feel free to share this information with colleagues who might be interested. \nOn Wednesday\, November 12th at 11:00 am we are hosting a development roundtable.  Our topic is exploring the changing dynamics of grant funding in 2025 and planning for 2026.  With shifting priorities\, tighter review processes\, and a growing emphasis on measurable impact\, this session will focus on practical strategies for staying competitive and sustaining funding in uncertain times.  Participants will discuss emerging trends\, share lessons learned\, and identify ways to strengthen collaboration and adaptability across the sector. \nOur guest speaker is Keri McDonald.  Keri has served in several diverse roles\, from caseworker to communications manager\, grants manager\, and board member.  This broad experience and ability to see through all constituent’s eyes helped her establish Keri McDonald Consulting\, LLC\, specializing in communications and grant writing\, serving primarily human services organizations.  Keri has a Master of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.  She is also Grant Professional Certified (GPC)\, the only accredited certification for the grants profession. \nPlease email us at info@tacfs.org if you’d like to attend and we’ll send you a calendar invitation.  Thank you!
