SUMMARY:In-Person Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening and Support Training
DESCRIPTION:The Texas Center for Child and Family Studies is excited to invite you to our upcoming in-person\, two-day\, nationally adopted Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support Certification Training! \nRooted in the Principles of Family Support Practice and the Strengthening Families Framework\, the Standards offer a shared language and approach that unites Family Resource Centers and other programs such as home visiting and child development. Developed by the National Family Support Network\, these Standards help programs—new or established—strengthen their foundation and elevate the way they partner with families. \nOver the course of this two-day  training\, we’ll explore how the Standards can enhance your work\, support quality improvement\, and provide a clear blueprint for implementing best practices across your organization. \nTraining Dates\nDay 1: October 28th   | 9:00am–3:00pm\nDay 2: October 29th | 9:00am–3:00pm \nTraining Location\nChildren’s Assessment Center\n2500 Bolsover St.\nHouston\, TX 77005 \nParticipants who complete both full days will receive a National Family Support Network Certificate\, valid for two years. \nTo receive certification\, participants must attend both days and follow along with the training manual provided on the first day of the training. \nIf you have any questions\, feel free to reach out to Tameka Caldwell at tcaldwell@tacfs.org. We’re looking forward to learning together and supporting the incredible work you do for Texas children and families!
