Emergency Preparedness Training



Emergency Preparedness: readying for the worst, lessons learned from survivors of Harvey, and developing internal resilience to combat compassion fatigue.

  • Web-based, eLearning courses accessible at any time

  • Foster parent specific course track and a staff specific course track

  • Incentives for foster parents for emergency preparedness supplies for those who complete the training by May 1st, 2019 and live in the Hurricane Harvey impacted areas of the state

  • 2 approved CEU hours for SW and LPC

Training for Foster Parents:

Training for RTC, GRO or Shelter Staff Member (2 SW or LPC CEU hours):
